The Buckers Golf traditional Good Friday tournament was held at Waterford Valley again in 2026. An overcast day with a top of 19 degrees gave way to some lovely Autumn sunshine to make for a very enjoyable day for all 32 golfers.
Congratulations to our 2026 Easter Cup winner Jessie Chin-Quan. Coming off a late night of work, 3 hours sleep and Red Bull, playing off a handicap of 31, Jessie posted a terrific 45 points to beat Stan by one shot. Great round Jessie.
Jessie’s win brings about the first family winners in the history of Buckers golf. Jessie’s Dad Clint won the Easter Cup in 2021, now son Jessie is the trophy holder in 2026. Well done guys!
Stan can count himself a little unlucky today after he carded 72 off the stick, for 44 stableford points playing off a handicap of 8. Bit stiff Stan, but a marvellous days golf Sir!
